System Requirements
SketchMatrix will run on any compatible PC running Windows 98
SE onwards (Windows Vista or XP is recommended). Other
requirements are quite standard - adequate hard disk space for
the program (around 5MB) and for your data/ images, a good
input pointing device, keyboard, monitor/ screen, CD ROM drive
(if you are using CD based distribution), a color scanner if
you want to scan your photos, a color printer for taking print
outs, plus a reasonably fast CPU (Pentium
or higher) with graphics support. Most specific requirements relate to memory
(RAM) and graphics resolution.
Memory
Memory requirement depends mostly
upon the largest image you will process. The program itself
needs 16 MB free memory. To load and process images, plan on
having around 10MB free for every 100,000 pixel size of the
image (width times height in pixels - not to be confused with
image file size on disk).
Screen
Resolution
Your graphics card must support a minimum
pixel resolution of 800 wide by 600 high is required. Higher
resolutions will provider larger workspace without the need to
scroll (minimum recommended (1024 wide by 768 high).
Current version and program
license editions
Version 2.1 is the current release. SketchMatrix
is available in different license types (Editions) to match your need and
budget. Below table provides summarization of different
